Tonight's date took us to Stonewood Grill. It's been a while since we visited so I wasn't too surprised to find that all my favorite things had been removed from the menu. Of course. What we ordered:
Cesear salad-- I vote okay.
French onion soup-- The onions weren't cooked enough and you could taste the alcohol and not in a good way.
Crab crusted mahi mahi with seasoned rice and grilled veggies-- It was all very under-seasoned but not bad with a little salt and pepper. The rice had an interesting taste. Brian thought it tasted like what Micheal's smells like. To put it in his words: "This rice tastes like arts and crafts." I laughed for a good 5 minutes. I'm laughing just remembering it.
# of hairs found in food: 1, a long red one attached to my pretzel bread
# of items that did not belong: 0
Flavor: bland but just fine with a little help from S & P
Price tag: way overpriced at $50
Service: Fine
Atmosphere: great for a date, dark and quiet
Do it again? Doubtful at that price and limited menu
