Brian has the worst luck with food ever. Ever. If there is something gross to be found, it will be found on his plate. These are just some of the experiences that made us think Hey, we should probably warn other people about this. We have good experiences too occasionally and we plan to share those when they happen. For now, enjoy reading about the bad ones.
Cody's Roadhouse: Brian's steak and mushroom bites entree included a 2 inch long piece of wire brush bristle mixed into his gravy. The wire brush that's used to scrub the grill. The manager offered to make him a new plate. No thanks, I think I will just go without dinner tonight for I fear a tongue piercing for dessert. I ordered the country fried chicken. It was basically country fried grease. Gross.

Texas Roadhouse: This one breaks my heart a little. We love Texas Roadhouse. We love eating the peanuts and throwing the shells across the table. We love the affordable steak and the side salad with egg. Yum! We hate the country music but that's not the point. Most of all we love the warm rolls with cinnamon butter. We were surprised to find that one visit ruined it all a little. Just a little. Brian tried to cut into his perfectly cooked, perfectly priced steak, to find that the little blood absorbing sponge that is put under the slabs of meat was not removed. Instead, it was grilled onto the meat. Yum again! You try really hard to ignore little mishaps at your favorite places but this was just a bit over the top. Again, the manager offered to replace the steak, minus the blood sponge.

Do it again? almost once a month
Green Tree Chinese: We had only ordered from here a few times before this incident and we gave it another shot. Brian found staples in his beef with broccoli. We aren't even sure what happened as this meal comes in the sealed plastic container and not the usual chinese food box. Was it mixed into the food beforehand or just fell into it somehow?

Do it again? we tried and gave up
El Indio: For this meal, Brian found nuts and bolts in his burrito. Yes, burritos pretty much are all the things left on the counter scraped into a tortilla but COME ON! At least make sure those things go undetected when eaten.

Do it again? We visit regularly, but we inspect before we eat
Moe's: Brian, again, was the unfortunate soul to stumble on this one. We don't know what it was. We don't know where it came from. All we know is that when he bit down, it broke his tooth. When he addressed it to the employee the response was: "Would you like some free cheese sauce?" I don't even know how to respond to that. Is the cheese sauce to seal in the exposed nerves??

We now like to consider eating out as a possible thrill ride. Will it be fun? Scary? Dangerous? Will I throw up when it's over? Who knows? We are just there to enjoy the ride.
